To my knowledge Namco Bandai still owns Digimon and there are no plans for a crossover game with Nintendo. I'm afraid that info is false. Dawn and Dusk are the Pokemon types of games. They are opposites in the types of Digimon you will start with, with a Shin Megami Tensei style of fighting. Digimon World DS is the first of those three, and sort of like the Pokemon Yellow/Emerald/Platinum of the three games. Championship is more like a tomogachi except with multiple digimon that are specifically bred and trained to fight in matches, you do not control them. Overall, Digimon World DS is a solid game with a pretty good story, but Dawn and Dusk have more variety of digimon. World Championship is a game of it's own and a lot of people really did not enjoy it, though I personally did. I haven't played these games in a few years, so I apologize for my bad review of them, but I would get Dawn or Dusk if you're looking for an RPG style game.
